The guys who showed up ay healthcare rallies in NM with M-16's are self-professed terrorists. They claim the American Revolutionaries were terrorists and want to model themselves after them. This of course was a declaration of war. And the poor schmuck who got his finger bitten off yesterday? He threw the first punch. He should be glad he only lost one finger. Kent State, JKF, MLK, Unibomber, Oklahoma...we know where this is headed. The anti-government politicians have their base in a tissy.
Island Dog did you participate in the Cash for Clunkers program? Because the data I've heard states very clearly that even though reimbersments have been slow the dealers were more than happy with the program. You know the people who were tarined by the Reagan era will never have anyhting good to say about the government. So it's pointless to argue. But at some point, Island Dog, you are going to be mistreated by an insurance company and you will have no recourse. And I hope you're man enough to share your experience.
Did not participate even though I bought a new car. What the dealers feel means nothing to me, and has nothing to do with the point I made. There are dealers who are still owned millions of dollars, so as I said, the government can't even manage that right. Regardless, we can't afford it anyways. They can't even tell how us they will pay for it.
I have been "mistreated" by an insurance company. Do you know what I did? I fought them and didn't go crying to the government about it.
This is a pretty sensitive issue for nearly everyone, and this may not be the best place to discuss it. I'd rather be asking Island Dog when the beta is coming now that it's the 4th, instead of about health care.
Well prudence suggest you judge a program by it's popularity. It's also fashionable for some folks to bash the USPS, even though the USPS is widely very popular and backed by the constitution. ID do you really lay in bed at night worrying about budget deficits?
