Interesting, but still requires fuel besides the fact the true chemical reaction is a "secret". Oxygen and fuel go in and what comes out? They can't just turn into a pure flow of electrons - magic does not happen. They also do not question the durability of it, how long it will run without failing.

Far from revolutionary, I believe this technology will be merely incremental, take a few % points on fossil fuel use to produce a modest increase in energy production... or so they tell.

Untill I see specific cost to performance measurements and have actual proof that these things can last outside of 10 plus years of continuous use I'm not going to hold my breath. Too much hype now and not alot of firm data. 

Even if all things were equal: The Bloombox still has the advantage of size.

You don't need extensive power grids anymore if power production can be decentralized. And - unlike other fuel cells - it doesn't require hydrogen, which is just one small leak away from explosive gas.

It still relies on a fuel source, witch in most cases will likely be fossil fuel, therefore it still has emissions. They envision it replacing the grid, but that can already be done with a home generator, that though may not be quite as efficient, is apparently far less expensive.
